Control your NearHalo information

Find support, manage sharing and permissions, or delete your NearHalo account.

Need immediate help? NearHalo is not an emergency service. If someone may be in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Delete your account

NearHalo lets you initiate permanent account deletion directly in the app. You do not need to call or email us to start this process.

In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account

Read the confirmation, type DELETE, and choose Delete forever. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

What deletion removes

Your sign-in, care profiles you created, their available wellness, location, fall, alert, safe-zone, and monitoring history, plus memberships and notification registrations tied to your account.

What deletion does not remove

Care profiles created by another caregiver are not deleted. Your account’s access to them is removed.

If you cannot access the app or need help with a deletion request, email info@josephpagan.com from the email address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify your identity before helping with the request.

Manage sharing and care-team access

Stop sharing from the recipient device

Open NearHalo on the device that is sharing data and choose Stop sharing. This stops new health and location sharing from that device.

Manage a care team

Use the care-team controls in the app to review membership and remove people who should no longer have access. Only invite or retain people you are authorized to share with.

Manage permissions and notifications

Health data

Manage NearHalo’s Apple Health access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → NearHalo.

Location

Manage location access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → NearHalo.

Notifications

Manage notifications in NearHalo or in iOS Settings → Notifications → NearHalo.

Turning off a permission stops future collection through that permission. To permanently remove data already associated with your account, use account deletion.
